Description
The Dishwasher is responsible for properly cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, and pans.

This individual ensures that the dish room, dishwasher, and all sinks are clean and organized and assists with cleaning other areas of the kitchen as requested by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.


DUTIES:

  • Operates dishwashing machine to Club and manufacturer specifications
  • Washes all pots and pans including the soup kettle
  • Clears all food off plates and feeds dishes through the dishwasher
  • Polishes silverware as required
  • Sorts all dishes, glasses, and silverware into respective compartments
  • Cleans and sanitizes the dish machine at the end of a shift
  • Returns cleaned articles to their designated storage areas
  • Removes all garbage
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of basic sanitary guidelines and dish machine operations
  • Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers
