Sr. Client Service Representative

  • This role consists of contributing to revenue retention and revenue growth by assisting in the implementation of insurance solutions that meet the needs of Higher Education and NotforProfit clients. The individual will provide support to clients and client facing professionals within the team, as well as manage a small book of clients.

We will count on you to:
**Pre

  • Renewal**:
  • Obtain renewal information from clients, create submissions to insurers.
  • Produce renewal strategy documents, coverage specifications, and submissions.
  • Produce client proposals, analysis and presentations.
  • Coordinate work with internal service departments
  • As needed participate in client meetings, underwriter meetings, and group presentations.
  • Possess a good knowledge of the client's operations and insurance programs.

Post Renewal:


  • Accountable for coordination of documents, binders, invoices, etc.
  • Prepare premium allocation and risk allocation for billing and taxation purposes
  • Prepare client letters proposals, binders/cover notes, etc. according to Professional Standards
  • Prepare Summary of Insurance, Proposals, Stewardship Reports
  • Follow up on client Subjectivities

On Going Basis:


  • Complies with Marsh Professional Standards to ensure quality service to all clients including file maintenance and computerized files.
  • Develop, monitor, update and ensure compliance with Renewal Action Plan.
  • Provide clients with service excellence timely responses to inquiries, accurate documentation, proactive.
  • Interact regularly with colleagues/managers, clients, underwriters and premium financing companies.
  • Review of less complex insurance contract clauses.

What you need to have:


  • 45 years equivalent work experience.
  • A valid Ontario level 1 Brokers license or educational equivalent;
  • Possess a solid understanding of property/casualty insurance principals and risk management concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Results oriented with a strong client service focus.
  • Ability to work independently and within a teambased environment.
  • Strong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multitasking and consistently meeting deadlines.
