The Coeur Silvertip mine located in British Columbia, just 10 miles south of the Yukon border is seeking a
Geological Technician to work in a camp-based environment rotating on a two week in/two week out shift rotation.

This is an introductory role appropriate for new or recent graduates of a B.Sc. program in a geoscience related field, or anyone with a keen interest in exploration geology.

Job Duties:

Complete geotechnical logging of oriented diamond drill core.
Maintain core logging data in database.
Sample and cut diamond drill core (fittested respirator required).
Track and catalogue drill core and samples.
Manage core sample shipments.
Perform preoperational checks, operate equipment, and perform all job functions according to Safe Operating Procedures.
Assist geologists as required.
