Our in-house design departments include Residential + Mixed-Use, Commercial + Industrial, Interior Design and Experiential Graphic Design.

In addition, we have a Digital Practice Department, who commits to the implementation of BIM, research + develop, and the infusion of cutting-edge technology into our projects and practice.


Who are we looking for:


As a Manager of Interior Design, your will primary focus is on building a high-performing team dedicated to both design excellence and best practices in project delivery.

Your influence will extend beyond project execution to encompass building strong client and stakeholder relationships and the strategic advancement of both your team and department.

What you will do:


  • Lead members of the Interior Design team with a focus on nurturing design excellence and innovation in every project.
  • Manage team dynamics to ensure a collaborative environment where design ideas flourish and team members feel valued and motivated.
  • Oversee the professional development of the team, identifying opportunities for growth and aligning them with project needs and design aspirations.
  • Serve as a mentor and guide in both the creative and technical aspects of interior design, ensuring the team's work reflects the high standards of Turner Fleischer.
  • Ensure design projects are executed with a high level of creativity and precision, meeting client expectations and deadlines.
  • Facilitate the integration of cuttingedge design technologies and methodologies within the team, enhancing our design capabilities.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and setting clear objectives for career advancement within the design domain.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the design and implementation phases.

What you will bring:


  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field, from an accredited institution.
  • 710 years of experience in Interior Design, with a significant portion in a leadership or management role.
  • An NCIDQ certification and ARIDO membership.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead a design team, with a strong portfolio of innovative design projects.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite) and knowledge of current design trends.
  • Familiarity with the OBC and relevant building codes, ensuring compliance in all design projects.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid role, with 4 days in the studio.
