Hemming Hubs and Joineries:


Hemming Hubs and Joineries at lululemon are located in select stores as directed by the Store Support Center and offer in-store hemming and select product repairs.

This allows for a specialized approach to customer service, or guest experience, in which a team of Hemmers execute high quality hemming, to support in creating lifetime lululemon guests.

Job Summary

Hemmers are responsible for executing high quality hemming, engaging and connecting with lululemon guests, sharing top-quality product education and relevant information about the local community and lululemon culture.

Core Responsibilities of the Job

Guest (i.e., Customer) Experience

  • Facilitate a seamless endtoend hemming experience by conducting quality and timely hemming grounded in product design intent and hemming best practices.
  • Interact with guests to ensure a great guest experience in a manner that values guests' time.
  • Assess guests' needs to provide customized, effective hemming and repair solutions and product support.
  • Execute marketrelevant omnichannel programs (e.g. Digital Hemming, BBR, etc.) according to company standards.
  • Stay up to date on required product resources and training to elevate technical product knowledge and hem product with the product design intent in mind.
  • Support team members in their knowledge and execution of hemming processing, documentation, expectationsetting, and creating guest solutions.
  • Move dynamically throughout the store to continuously engage with guests and the team, and attend to guest or store needs, inclusive of hemming.
  • Receive guest feedback and partner with store leadership to take appropriate action and "make it right" for guests, making timely decisions grounded in creating guests for life.
  • Partner with the SSC on key product initiatives relative to hemming and the escalation of product feedback to the appropriate SSC department.
Working with Others

  • Establish supportive and productive relationships with all team members.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal guest experience and support store operations.
Operations

  • Maintain the hemming space and the items inside of it, including proper machine maintenance, tool maintenance, and supply ordering (e.g. thread orders).
  • Use instore technology to support store operations and provide positive guest experiences.
  • Perform cleaning tasks as needed throughout the shift to maintain the luxury environment of the store.
  • Understand and adhere to people safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform work in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws or regulations.

Job Requirements

Eligibility

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the store is located
  • Professional experience in operating industrial sergers and coverstitch machines
  • Knowledge of technical fabrics and garment construction
  • Professional experience in sewing or tailoring
Availability

  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Other Willingness Requirements

  • Willing to move through a store for most of a shift to help guests and accomplish work
  • Willing to work as part of a team and complete some work independently
Job Assets (i.e., nice to have; not required)

  • Education: High School or Secondary School diploma equivalent or above.
  • Degree or certification in Fashion Design and/or garment industry background.
Compensation & Benefits Package
