Heidelberg Materials is seeking responsible, safe, and dependable
wash plant helper to join our local team. As a helper you will support plant needs by ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to use different skills every day as you learn the aggregate industry and fill in for vacancies in various areas of our plant.

What You'll Get To Do

  • Maintain cleanliness of plant work areas
  • Assist with plant tasks including lubrication, maintenance, repairs
  • Transport materials to and from storage and shop areas
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures; assist with physical inspections of plant property/departments.

What We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Desire / ability to learn the operation of the wash plant
  • Desire to work cooperatively as part of a productive team
  • Ability to work safely, and independently without constant supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of learning through on the job training
  • Able to work inside and outside in yearround weather conditions
  • Ability to work different extended hours, holidays and/or overtime required
