We are looking to add a friendly, outgoing _
tasting room associate_ to our team.

If you have an interest in or knowledge of wine and enjoy providing excellent customer service with a friendly demeanor, we invite you to be a part of making this summer season truly exceptional.

This is a seasonal position starting right away.

About Westcott_

Westcott Vineyards is a small boutique winery located in Jordan Station specializing in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sparkling wine. We are passionate about our land and truly believe great wine starts in the vineyard. Discussion of place and terroir is very important in our communication with customers. We aim to create a memorable and amazing customer experience through our passion for great wine and great conversations.

This role consists of but is not limited to:

  • Communicating the Westcott story/brand to our guests in an enthusiastic and dynamic way
  • Conducting tastings and serving customers either in our tasting room or our outside seating areas
  • Responsible for the daily operations of the tasting room including maintaining wine & merchandise levels, POS system use, organization & cleanliness
  • Enthusiasm and passion for promoting wine sales & our wine club
  • Prior Experience in retail is an asset
  • Prior wine sales experience is also an asset

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Friendly and a team player
  • Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Extensive wine knowledge isn't necessary but an interest in learning about wine is
  • Must be able to lift 40 lb cases of wine
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Professional attitude and a strong work ethic
Smart Serve certified and is 19+ years of age.


Job Types:
Part-time, Casual, Seasonal


Pay:
$16.55 per hour


Day range:

  • Every Weekend
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday

Shift:

  • 4 hour shift
  • Afternoon shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift

Experience:

- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
