RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the loading and unloading of rail wheelsets using overhead cranes. As well as the operation of lathe to produce a finished product

  • Identify nonconforming products and communicate issues to the supervisor
  • Follow work procedures demonstrating exceptional standards for quality
  • Maintain a safe and orderly work environment
  • Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures
  • Meet daily production and quality targets

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position.
  • Skilled in precision measuring using micrometers, verniers...
  • Punctual
  • Excellent eye/hand coordination
  • Ability to multitask and respond quickly to changes as required
  • Ability to work an 8 hour shift (rotation of days (73) and evenings
  • Eligible for signing bonus, benefits and pension plan following probation period
