    Market Implementation Analyst Location Hybrid work in Vancouver, BC : Market Implementation Analyst Connor, Clark & Lunn Investment Management Ltd. Our Quantitative Equity Team is looking for a Market Implementation Analyst to join their growing team This role will have the successful candidate working with our trading and portfolio management teams focused on process execution, project management as well as interfacing with our broker dealers on topics such as portfolio financing, securities-lending, and stock borrowing.     • Working collaboratively within our quantitative investment management team including with our trading desk and portfolio management teams, you will be responsible for executing key daily processes required for implementing our quantitative equity portfolios in the market.
    • Develop a strong understanding of our investment strategies, business goals and processes as it relates to the implementation of portfolio financing, stock borrow, securities lending and collateral management.
    • Interact with our external dealers, prime brokers, custodians, and counterparties in coordinating projects to maintain and enhance our investment processes and ensure the accuracy of the data we rely on them for.
    • Review, analyze and propose enhancements to our existing processes and procedures to ensure operational success and the fulfilment of best practices in the market implementation of our investment portfolios.
    • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators in the market implementation of our portfolios and communicate your findings with the rest of the team.
    • Support other members of the Market Implementation team and perform backup duties as required.
    • Perform other duties as assigned including ad-hoc projects relating to new clients, counterparties, and processes.
    • Ongoing personal training and development.

    • Academic Training - An undergraduate degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline. Your completion of the CFA or relevant graduate degree is considered an asset.
    • Financial Knowledge and Experience -You have a passion for quantitative finance, equity investment, data science (or related fields) with 1 to 3 years of relevant work or co-op experience.
