As a part time Speech Language Pathologist you will be part of the Home Health School-Based Services team serving communities in the Durham region such as Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, and Bowmanville.
Provisional supervision is available for new graduates.Take an inside look at what you'll do each day
- Create and contribute to excellence in the client/stakeholder experience
- Assessment and implementation of SLP interventions by providing client care in person (in private schools)
- Lead patients through individualized care plans, accurately assessing, communicating and providing treatment to facilitate goal attainment for the client
- Liaise with referral sources and funders to build relationships and ensure clients' needs are met
- Leverage our digital health platforms to support documentation, collaboration, and intervention
- Contribute to the team through collaboration, demonstrating passion for the work you do and using good judgement and integrity in decision making
- Provide ongoing evaluation of patient progress
- Engage in continuous learning and skills development

What you need to be successful**- You are registered as a member in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
- Your focus is to embrace person and familycentered care
- Ability to travel within the Durham region
- You are comfortable delivering care in person
- You are known for your excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaboration within an interdisciplinary team as well as work independently
