    Our Burnaby plant is looking for a full time team member to fill a Maintenance Tradesmen position. We offer a starting wage of $48.16 per hour, as well as evening and night premiums and the opportunity to contribute to a home-grown cooperative

    • What's involved in this role :

  • Diagnosing and replacing faulty mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components on machines and equipment.
  • Monitor day to day operations, prioritize work orders as needed, and ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Ensure compliance to Agropur policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is conducted within Safety, Food Safety, and Product Quality fundamental requirements.

    • What you need to join our team:

  • Ability to perform and learn a variety of tasks with minimal direction
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe workplace
  • Basic hand tools and tool pouch required
  • Have good written and oral communication skills.
  • Have previous maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Have PLC experience.

    • Qualifications:

  • Red Seal Journeyman Millwright or Electrician recognized by the Province of BC
  • 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate of Competency and the ability to achieve 3rd Class e within a 12 month period.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an automated production environment.
