Position Summary


In alignment with Ontario's Roadmap to Wellness strategy of building the province's mental health and addictions system, the Project Manager will assist the eating disorders sector on a large health quality initiative.

Eating Disorders Ontario - Prevention (EDO-P)is a provincial framework that aims to add a new layer of prevention service delivery to the existing system of care.

This role will help to lead the planning, design, implementation, management and coordination of assigned projects for the program.

The principal responsibilities include leading, planning, and developing processes to achieve desired outcomes, including stakeholder engagement and relationship management; supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of program strategic plans; supporting program decision support and ad hoc reporting; performing budgeting/financial management responsibilities; performing legal and procurement management activities; and performing administrative/coordination activities, as required.


Duties

  • Lead multiple projects of large scope and complexity from initiation to closeout;
  • Lead enterprisewide change through comprehensive strategic planning, engagement and communications;
  • Advance adoption and user experience guidelines to ensure solutions are presented in a meaningful and accessible manner that allows users to easily understand & interpret data;
  • Assist with business insights and opportunities aligning to strategic priorities;
  • Facilitate a collaborative environment with executive leadership, program team(s), external vendors/contractors, and functional, business and technical stakeholders;

Qualifications

  • An Undergraduate Degree in Health Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field;
  • PMP certification;
  • 5+ years of project and people management experience, with 3+ years of experience as a fulltime Project Manager;
  • Experience working in a public healthcare organization;
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum processes.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or equivalent);
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Master's degree in Healthcare or related business field considered an asset
