We are looking for a 14-Month Maternity Leave Contract Receiving Clerk to join our team in Utopia, ON.

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for providing seamless processing of incoming deliveries, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency of managing the administrative process within the purchasing department.

Opportunity for a full-time position at the end of the contract.

This position is not a work-from-home role.

Duties & Responsibilities

Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking incoming deliveries.
Receiving paperwork into accounting system
Spreadsheet data entry related to incoming material
Track shipments and verify receipts of shipments as required.
Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
Problem solve for any cases of missing documents
Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education & Experience

Post-secondary Diploma in Office Administration or relevant experience

  • 2 Years of previous experience in purchasing / receiving in a manufacturing setting
Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
Attention to detail in all areas of work.
