CANADA SUMMER JOBS PROGRAM
- Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment;

JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant, Graphic Design will support the Marketing and Communications team and may perform a wide range of design and administrative duties for the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure RHF brand guidelines are followed in all materials;
- Prioritize and implement accessible design best practices;
- Provide design support for print design solutions including promotional materials, proposals, stewardship reports and impact stories;
- Liaises with staff and external providers to manage sourcing, production, and delivery of products;
- Supports administrative tasks such as saving digital materials; and
- Performs other related duties in keeping with the purpose and accountabilities of the position.
PREFERENCES
- Computer proficiency including with MS Office;
- Demonstrated visual creativity with the integration of typographic, photographic, illustrative and graphic elements;
- Knowledge of graphic file formats, prepress and print production methods;
- Ability to communicate concepts and present visual ideas effectively;
- Effective oral and written communication, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
- Ability to produce impactful infographics;
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment;
- Ability to holistically integrate brand look and feel across multiple mediums and communications; and
- High level of discretion, tact, and judgment when handling confidential and sensitive information.
