Description
CKF Inc.has six manufacturing facilities located across Canada, and one in the USA with a total workforce in excess of 900 employees.
Our operations produce foam, plastic and molded pulp products including disposable tableware, egg cartons, four-cup carriers, display containers, and a wide variety of other products for the food service industry.
The Rexdale location is seeking a Reclaim Operator working in our Extrusion Department.Operate reclaim extruders, weigh, transport and store pelletized resin.
Monitor and report fluff silo levels.
Collect and grind thermoforming and foam line rework and scrap material.
Remove dust collector waste.
Complete all necessary daily production reports.
Report all downtime/ breakdowns to Lead Hand immediately.
Adhere to housekeeping & maintenance (filters) guidelines.
Assist with start-up of foam lines when required.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Excellent communication and written skills.
Proven troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work rotating, continental shift schedule, including weekends.
Forklift License or have the ability to be trained in Forklift.
