Embassy Ingredients is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Regulatory Specialist.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our products uphold the highest legal, regulatory, and certification standards, you will play a vital role in supporting our organization's commitment to excellence.
What your role would be responsible for:
- Assist in overseeing the regulatory compliance program to ensure all products meet national and international regulatory requirements.
- Assist in managing finished product technical data and regulatory packages, ensuring compliance with kosher, genesis, and spec database requirements.
- Support quality reviews and risk assessments, contributing to new product approvals and changes.
- Aid in managing the product inactivation process and provide regulatory support to R&D teams.
- Assist in handling customer requests and managing label generation processes.
- Participate in facility inspections as part of the HACCP and Internal audit team.
- Support the supplier approval program by assisting in approving new raw materials and suppliers, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring document compliance.
- Provide immediate support to Operations and contribute to food safety initiatives including BRCGS, HACCP, GMPs, and more.
What you need to bring to Embassy:
- College diploma or university degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or Microbiology, or relevant industry experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- High sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight timelines and pressure.
- Flexibility to work on a flexible schedule when required.
- Knowledge of Spec database, Genesis, Business Central and Dynamics 365 CRM is an asset.
- Familiarity with quality systems such as GMP, HACCP, and BRCGS is preferred.
