Evenings Lead Hand Dock - Full-time Toronto (Mon-Fri) 15:00 - 23:30
Minimax is an LTL trucking company, with terminals in Ontario and Quebec. Due to continued growth we are looking for a lead hand dock person for our Toronto Terminal.


Compensation

Job functions

  • Unload cargo from city trucks sort by final destination
  • Ensure that all outbound linehauls are loaded safely and efficiently
  • Accurately manifest all freight
  • Ensure linehauls depart on time
  • You must be able to plan loads in the proper geographical order

Responsibilities

  • Promote safety in all aspects of the operations, including dock and drivers
  • Provide feedback to supervisor as to performance and productivity of all dock personnel
  • Work closely with supervisor to improve operation

Qualifications

  • Must have excellent geographical knowledge
  • Knowledge of computers
  • 5 years experience in transportation
  • Forklift experience 2 years
  • Ability to plan and organize, attention to detail, problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
