***- As the Manager of Finance, you will join the Leadership Team (LT) to assume responsibility for a portfolio of Finance Operations and their relative operating and reporting functions within the Agency's overall leadership team portfolio. - Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you are a leader who energizes others, keeping people focused on purpose and on vision. You bring a contagious positivity and a proven ability to accurately discern and assess risk and challenges through metrics and reporting and seek continuous improvement opportunities in your portfolio.
- Your experience in communitybased financial operations, coupled with your delivery of continuous improvement initiatives, will play an important role in moving the agency forward which maintaining fiscal stability.
As Manager of Finance and IT, you will lead the following areas:
- Manage all aspects of the accounting system and month-end closing
- Prepare journal entries as required
- Prepare internal and external reporting packages
- Manage and lead the annual audit Prepare and present the annual budget
- Monthly variance analysis and commentary on organizational performance
- Support and provide guidance to program manager regarding spending
- You will engage, coach, mentor, and work alongside the finance team, to foster operational efficiency and continuous improvement; while demonstrating a combination of emotional intelligence, critical thinking, decisive judgement, teamwork and collaboration and conflict resolution skills used to design and deliver on key department initiatives. You will work closely with Directors and their respective teams as part of the Agency's overall services framework.
- Along with your certifications in business or related/equivalent (bachelorslevel preferred) you will have 57 years operational and supervision/management experience in finance, preferably within a community based organization. You must also have a proficiency with financial ministry reporting and the Microsoft Office suite of products, a valid driver's license and have access to an insured vehicle, and the ability to provide a current and satisfactory Police Record Check.
