Central Plains Co-op is hiring a
Head Cashier on a permanent basis for our Marketplace Food Store located in
Rosetown, Saskatchewan.

What you'll do:


  • Ensure the frontend of the store is operating efficiently and effectively by supervising and providing training and assistance to customer service and cashiers.
  • Ensure accountability of the team by planning, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
  • Ensure that work areas are kept neat and tidy and that displays are kept fresh, well rotated and merchandised.
  • Assist with processing customers through tills and ordering products.
  • Work with Manager to implement and maintain CASMs.

The Team:

You will lead the cashier team consisting of 10 team members and work closely with the Food Store leadership team to cultivate a culture of teamwork and exceptional customer service.


The Community:
Central Plains Co-op serves the West Central Saskatchewan communities of Landis, Eston, Perdue, Plenty, Harris and Rosetown.

This position is located out of Rosetown which is about an hour away from Saskatoon and is a smaller community with all the amenities your family might need.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

  • Retail and leadership experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Have the ability to work a rotating schedule to provide leadership throughout days, evenings and weekends.
  • Are able to work independently and has excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Have a high attention to detail and accuracy.
