Description

OPENTEXT

OpenText is a global leader in information management, where innovation, creativity, and collaboration are the key components of our corporate culture.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to partner with the most highly regarded companies in the world, tackle complex issues, and contribute to projects that shape the future of digital transformation.

The Cloud Services Product Management (CSPM) team is responsible for defining, driving and delivering OpenText's Cloud Services offerings across the full product lifecycle.

This team owns the roadmap, the readiness process and the cloud strategy that all enable deployment at scale. This includes anaging cost effectively. Also involved in go-to-market readiness, we are intensely focused on excellence of operationalization and commercialization.

We serve as the primary interface to teams that depend on what is sold as a cloud service in OpenText Cloud.

You are instrumental in helping codify, align and drive its plan of record. You are acutely aware of our customer profile and influence outcomes to their benefit. This includes onboarding new teams and products into Cloud.

You see product management as a discipline that enables decision making with confidence so that you and leadership can effectively deliver internal value and innovation in our OpenText Cloud.

As the ideal fit, you are all about being product, cloud and market-savvy.

You are goal-driven, and remarkably passionate about delivering services in an end-to-end manner - even if that means rolling up your sleeves to map processes or manage exceptions for the good of the OpenText Cloud business.

You have a head for business and take a pragmatic, often methodical approach to problem-solving.

You move fast, gain the trust of others, are non-political and can influence without authority with a clear track record of leadership.

You operate with an owner's mindset and as a progressive product/cloud leader, you place high impact activity at the core of what you do.

You are a master at stakeholder management and use it to get it done

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive, align and deliver on key initiatives that enable secure, available and manageable cloud solutions for our OpenText domains and customers.
  • Conduct market, product, and customer research so that you understand where to set the bar on performance and capability with OpenText Cloud.
  • Be accountable and responsible for offering excellence in offering standard services in standard ways so that they are commercialized in cost and margineffective manners.

  • Pivot around data and clearly label assumptions to confidence of estimates and projections. You use multiple data points to bound the numbers and improve accuracy.
  • Establish and prioritize feedback loops, win/loss reflections and continuous improvement into all processes and frameworks that you depend on, particularly with stakeholders involved in the commercialization phases of delivery.
  • Establish and influence the adoption of processes and frameworks that enable scalability, standardization and repeatability as pillars of our OpenText Cloud services value proposition.
  • Champion OpenText Cloud service literacy within the organization and drive internal adoption rates amongst other product management and engineering leaders.
  • Translate the vision and objectives of key initiatives into smaller, actionable parts so that they can be delivered in increments and then propose and align resources for each.
  • Partner with Ecosystem, Sales and Pre-Sales Engineers to support and articulate clear and confident messaging in response to prospect and customer inquiries related to our Cloud services.
  • Develop a strong understanding of OpenText Cloud products and services and importantly the way in which we standardize and offer them to support commercialization.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent.
  • MBA and/or Product Management or Cloud Certifications a plus.
