Lyons Timber Mart is currently seeking a
Part-time
Paint & Hardware Associate to join our roster. The
Paint & Hardware Associate will work out of our Black Road location. Lyons Ltd.

has been part of the community since today, we continue the tradition of being a family owned business serving Algoma as Island Timber Mart, Lyons Timber Mart Black Rd., and Lyons Timber Mart Wellington.

*Must be available weekends and evenings*
Responsibilities and Duties:

Greet and approach all customers in a warm and welcoming professional manner
Assist customers with their paint selection, to determine the correct product
Keep up to date on current lighting and décor trends
Maintain stock levels and ensure product is properly merchandised
Ensure a clean and safe working environment
Work safely
Assist with other duties as required or assigned by management

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills
Knowledge of paint or lighting is an asset, however not required
Willingness to take initiative in getting tasks completed
Provide accurate and timely quotes for customer orders; including masonry, landscaping and DIY projects
Provide customers with knowledge and advice for their projects
Complete all aspects of sales process from start to finish including selection of products and services, sales input, coordinating pick up and/or delivery of goods and services
Maintain customer files and followup with customers after projects have been completed
Friendly, courteous and helpful team player attitude
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Proficient with computers; including MS Office
Knowledge of Bistrack would be an asset
Assist with other duties as required or assigned by management
