About this opportunity


Reporting to the Manager, Document Control, this position supports Atlantic Region Operations as a member of the Document Management Group, which is responsible for the lifecycle management of all Cenovus documentation.

This position will assist with the daily activities of the document control center team, ensuring the timely delivery of information to all clients.

It will also include assisting the team in client communication(s) as well as contributing to any ongoing development of policies and procedures to manage the same.

This position is a full-time, temporary located in our St. John's office.

West White Rose is a concrete based drilling platform, which will access resources in the western part of the existing White Rose field and use the SeaRose floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel for processing within our Atlantic Region Operations.

Responsibilities:


  • Assisting with standard document control functions for revision and nonrevision controlled documentation, including but not limited to Engineering, Vendor and procedural type documentation.
  • Operating the electronic transmittal system to manage the registration, tracking, and distribution of controlled documentation.
  • Assisting in records management and inventory procedures.
  • Ensuring that authors and any other provider of documentation adheres to the Documentation Guidance Manual standards, format etc.
  • Filing and physically organizing material kept on site.

Qualifications:


  • Legally entitled to work in Canada for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation (e.g., work visa)
  • Available to work between May 1st and Aug 25th, 2023.


Education- Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary Records Management Program at an accredited post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies after the work term.- Students currently enrolled in either a Masters or P.HD program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.- Attached copies of transcripts.


Skills and Competences- Safely Drives Results- Enables Agility- Strong interpersonal, communication (oral and written) and customer service skills.- Fosters Collaboration- Computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.- Some administrative work experience.- Some knowledge of information management systems.
