C|Prime Modern Italian Steak and Wine in Downtown Vancouver has an immediate need for a full time
Restaurant Manager who can start immediately. Prefer permanent, but would also consider a contract position.

Incorporating hints of New York City, C|Prime delivers incredible food in a fashionable atmosphere, located in the Century Plaza Hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver.


Job Details
As the Restaurant Manager, you will monitor all aspects of the day-to-day operations of a full-service dining room. This includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Room Service, Banquets, and Special Events.

The Restaurant Manager would also have full responsibility of all floor staff.

Managing labour and cost controls, recruiting, team building, maintaining cleanliness and presentation are also key components of this role.


Requirements:


  • Minimum 4 years frontofhouse senior management in the restaurant industry in high volume, upscale establishments. This includes the ability and willingness to perform all frontofhouse activities efficiently and professionally;
  • Be polished and professional in presentation, communication, coaching, and attitude;
  • Excellent wine knowledge with a clear understanding of beer and spirits trends;
  • Be willing and able to support the entire frontofhouse team in all capacities and in all daytoday activities;
  • Be able to deliver excellent customer service to our clients and guests;
  • Have a clear understanding of restaurant financial aspects, being capable of delivering budgeted targets, and be able to justify a profit & loss statement;
  • Have flexibility in availability, as mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays are all required;
  • Excellent Oracle Simphony POS knowledge (and/or similar point of sale systems), payment processing systems, and effective working experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as online reservation systems such as Open Table;
  • Must have Serving It Right and Food Safe certification, and legally entitled to work in Canada.
