Position Title

Required Qualifications
Minimum grade 12 education or GED
Must be proficient in English
Team members must be able to multitask, to work independently or as a member of a team, and to communicate openly with fellow coworkers as well as guests.
Familiarity with sport and official calls and sport facility rules of conduct.
Competent in Microsoft Office
Standard First aid
CPRlevel C
The position requires availability on weekends and evenings.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with score clocks and/or score sheets considered assets
Previous experience in Sports with preference given to Basketball, Volleyball, and Soccer
Experience as a mascot is considered an asset
Familiarity with Presto software is considered an asset
Knowledge of sport calls
Pro Serve if working in concession

Temporary Part Time Game Day Attendants.

This position is required to assist with:

answer questions from guests during game day reception

- validated and processing game admittance and schedule/program information for season
- cash handling processes
- conducting facility tours for visiting teams and guests
- noting equipment and facility maintenance and damage to game day coordinator,
- organizing equipment, cleaning game day equipment / bleachers/hardwood,
- general maintenance of equipment, equipment set-up and tear down
- game day set up and tear down including clean up
- washroom checks and garbage collection,
- monitoring the field houses, track, fitness centre and enforcing facility policies including wristband, membership card, dress code, and child policies while on shift
- canteen operations, game day operations, kid zone operations, minor officiating
- inventories
- manual labor expected
- other duties as assigned.

Advertised Salary

CUPE Temporary Rate
SW1 $23.

53 per hour plus 11% vacation pay
