Hybrid Work Model
This position is located in our Victoria, BC office. You will have the opportunity to work part of the time on-campus and part of the time off-campus.

Guidelines and requirements for in-office presence are determined by operational need and vary according to the unique needs of each business area.

The opportunity:

We are seeking a
Corporate Manager, Budgeting and Accounting
to join our team in VICTORIA, British Columbia, Canada.**The Corporate Manager, Budgeting and Accounting oversees the corporation's budgeting, forecasting, accounting and financial reporting functions, and supervises a team of financial experts.

They will provide technical and management expertise for budgeting/forecasting, cost allocation, corporate financial reporting, and portions of accounting for the Corporation.

The position manages and facilitates cross organizational interactions for the branch and establishes standards and expectations for individual and departmental performance levels in accordance with corporate priorities and policy.

What do you need to succeed?:

Must have:

Bachelor's Degree in business administration, commerce, recognized financial management/accounting program.
Five years of experience with budgeting and forecasting with two of these years at a managerial level.
Two years of experience with financial reporting.
Two years of recent leadership experience including supervision of staff.

Nice to have:

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

An accounting designation or Master's degree in related field
Experience with Oracle Fusion
Experience working with pension plans
