Description
The Facility Specialist is responsible for assisting and coordinating the cleanliness of the warehouse.

Ensuring all tasks are completed in a manner that promotes safety and is complying with all the standard operating procedures, policies, and OSHA standards.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Train and instruct new employees in proper cleaning techniques.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards within the facility department.
  • Comply with OSHA
  • Oversee and ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks.
  • Complete required reports, memos, and correspondence. Maintain communication with management and departments as needed.
  • Organizing, coordinating, and scheduling cleaning tasks for Facility Assistants.
  • Keep warehouse in clean and orderly condition following 5S.
  • Maintain and order inventory for supplies within the warehouse.
  • Ensure cleanliness, no dirt and debris, obstacles, and trip/slip hazards within the warehouse.
  • Work safely and follow all policies and procedures as documented.
  • Perform or assist in grounds maintenance as assigned.
  • Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat, and wellorganized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Must have at least one year of general facilities work experience.
  • Knowledge of OSHA
  • Proficient in MS (Outlooks and Excel)
