Description
The HRBP isresponsible for providing HR guidance to a defined area of the business.

This position will perform Human Resource duties including hiring, retention, personnel records, legal compliance, onboarding and training as well as additional operational functions.

The HRBP will be responsible for ensuring that the needs of the site are being met and work to appropriate his/her time accordingly in coordination with site management.

You will also assist the Senior HR Manager with the implementation and maintenance of HR initiatives and programs as required.

HR Support

  • Manage the daytoday functions of the Human Resources department including recruitment, training, attendance, discipline and employee relations
  • Provide input and support to the Human Resources Manager in the general operations of the Human Resources department
  • Conducts exit interviews and analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
Employee Relations

  • Actively participates in site staff meetings and may attend area HR meetings
  • Responsible for all Site employee and supervisory communication revolving around human resource topics
  • Administer discipline and employee counseling accordingly
  • Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and performance management
  • Provide HR support to site managers and employees and refer and coordinate highlevel issues to Regional HR Manager
  • Coaching Supervisors and Managers on employee counselling and discipline
  • Conducting investigations along with Senior HR Manager during complaints on unfair treatment, harassments and violence.

Administrative Support:

  • Ensuring new hire onboarding program is completed and processed
  • Manages human resource administration to ensure the effective implementation of procedures regarding new hires, promotions, transfers, leaves of absence and terminations.

PRIMARY INTERACTIONS:
The primary exchange will be working with supervisors, warehouse associates, and managers and senior managers.

MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources management or equivalent experience, CHRP is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist/Specialist, with a focus on employee relations.
