To support the on-going growth of our business, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and energetic

Scale Operator:
to join our team. This position is responsible for weighing in/out all trucks, customer service, and various office tasks. If you are detailed oriented and take pride in working within a team to build robust processes, then there is an opportunity for you to thrive within our Company


The shift hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm and the starting annual salary is $50,000.00.


_Key Responsibilities_:


  • Scale Operation responsible for weighing all trucks in/out for tire collection, crumb sales, steel, waste, transfers with Liberty
  • Manage transactions into EVRON software
  • Prepares all paperwork for shipments
  • BOL, Customs docs, any required customer specific paperwork, sieve analysis, pack list (EPICOR)
  • Answers phones, screens, and directs calls to proper department
  • Assists with Sales calls and quoting as needed, creates sales orders
  • Coordinates steel shipments with production and carrier
  • Data entry into various spreadsheets/reports such as
  • STREP, Incoming/Outgoing passenger tires, Incoming/Outgoing OTR tires, Waste, steel, etc. (EPICOR)
  • Communicates with forklift and loader operators
  • Responsible for daily scale check and to notify Office Supervisor of any issues
  • Reconciles monthly fuel reports and data entry into applicable spreadsheets
  • Copies various plant reports and enters plant reports into spreadsheets (EPICOR)
  • Responsible for calling in for pickup of various waste bins for plant
  • Distributes mailbag
  • Assists with writing monthly POs for third party haulers
  • Analyze and prepare collection data reports
  • Data entry into EPICOR close all Calgary transactions
  • Create reports using EVRON
  • Maintain phone lists
  • Order office supplies and maintain supply room

_Education and Experience_:


  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position is preferred but not required
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office
  • Excel training may be provided by the company
  • Document and data control experience is a strong asset.
