14/14 Rotation Schedule

Salary - $ Depending on experience

Health & Dental Benefits

Quarterly Bonus Pay

Isolation Premium - $1.25/hr

Night Shift Premium - $1.75/hr

Daily Safety Bonus - $15.00/day

Duties and responsibilities

Able to assist the driller by:

  • Loading, unloading and securement of drill rods.
  • Setting up the drill and equipment on site.
  • Handling sampling equipment and providing samples to client.
  • Handling augers and other drill tooling.
  • Assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Cleaning equipment and keeping work area clean and free of debris.
  • Following companies HSE policies and procedures.
  • Ability to adapt in a high pressure, high production environment while managing competing priorities with mínimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize, problemsolve, and meet deadlines.
  • Work safely in an underground mining environment on a roster arrangement which includes night shift.
  • Connect various components on the raise drill as required.
  • Read and interpret engineering plans to assist in the setup of the raise drill and assemble components.
  • Ensure the maintenance of a clean work site, storage of materials and spare parts.
  • Must be able to follow proper procedure to ensure safety and to control equipment damage.
  • Prepare and complete all necessary paperwork required in compliance with our clients, industry and company standards and policies.

Qualifications:


Mandatory requirements

  • FMTM
  • Valid Explosives Permit
  • Valid Fall Protection Certificate

Assets, but not mandatory

  • Valid Telehandler Operator Certificate
  • Lockout and tagout
  • Valid Rigging Training Certificate
  • Some drilling experience
  • First Aid

Other Site Requirements & General Working Conditions

  • A clean criminal records check is mandatory prior to hiring.
  • Ability to lift or carry 50lbs.
  • Be mechanically inclined and have good problemsolving skills.
  • Have a good understanding of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Preemployment medicals and drug screening are mandatory prior to site access.
  • Must be willing to learn and participate in onthejob training.
  • Ability to work night and day shift is a requirement.
  • Must be able to work in high traffic areas and in close proximity.
  • Camp accommodations are provided.
  • Must be a team player and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
We have multiple opening in various locations throughout Canada. All successful applicants will be required to work a two-week on, two-week off rotation schedule.
