The Position

Responsibilities include:

Target Research: Grow our portfolio's M&A funnel by researching and identifying suitable acquisition targets core to our portfolio (ex. by geography and vertical).
Nurture Existing Funnel: Take ownership of an existing funnel of acquisition prospects and quickly develop a strong relationship to be the trusted point of contact.
Generate Internal Reports: Use Salesforce tools and data to generate reports which will provide strategic deal sourcing insights.
Other: Complete adhoc projects to support portfolio M&A head

Qualifications & Requirements

5+ years of work experience; previous experience in sales/business development
Strong analytical combined with an ability to understand and describe business models with proficiency
Prior experience with Salesforce helps but is not required
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Comfortable communicating with Clevel executives at target companies
Undergraduate degree, preferably in business (ex. BBA, BCom etc.) from a leading Canadian or international University, MBA a plus
