Who we are ?
La Fédération des coopératives du Nouveau-Québec is owned by its fourteen member co-ops in the Inuit communities of Nunavik.

FCNQ was established in 1967 to provide the rapidly growing cooperative movement with more effective powers and services to help attain their vision "Atautsikut" Together—working to develop as a people, leaving none behind.


Responsibilities:

Under the authority of the director, your main responsibilities will be to provide support for our cable service.

  • Answer customer calls and provide telephone support to technicians;
  • Prepare monthly billing for cable customers;
  • Prepare and track monthly invoices from signal providers;
  • Track customer service connections and disconnections;
  • Open customer accounts and authorize new receivers;
  • Maintain customer account database as well as physical records;
  • Follow up on shipments of equipment to the north;
  • Produce monthly reports for cable billing in hotels and during the audit period;
  • Process member credit card payments;
  • Participation in special mandates for the department;
  • All other related tasks to meet the needs of cooperatives and their employees.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent experience;
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role;
  • Billing experience (asset);
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel and Word);
  • Be able to communicate in French and English, both orally and in writing;
  • Excellent interaction with customers;
  • Teamwork skills;
  • Sense of organization.
