Team Lead, Employment Services

We're seeking a passionate Team Lead to drive our Employment Services forward and create impactful change.


Your Role:

As a Team Lead, you'll blend supervisory responsibilities with direct support/service roles.

Your pivotal position involves collaborating with the support/service team, acting as a bridge between front-line staff, team coordinators, and stakeholders.

Reporting to the Coordinator, you'll be instrumental in delivering service excellence.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Planning and executing employment programs to enhance participants' employability skills
  • Guiding frontline staff in Human-Centered Design initiatives
  • Setting goals and identifying growth opportunities for staff, providing necessary training and support
  • Recruitment, orientation, and training of new team members
  • Monitoring mandatory training compliance for frontline staff
  • Utilizing technology to share client successes regularly
  • Mentoring staff
  • Promoting inclusion and accessibility in all activities through various tools and techniques
  • Collaborating with Employment teams and employers for inclusive hiring practices and workplace accommodations
  • Overseeing program delivery, addressing daily operational issues and administrative tasks
  • Identifying and communicating staff development needs, assisting in performance management

Qualifications & Skills:


  • Minimum 2 years postsecondary education in Social Services or Disability Studies
  • 2+ years of experience working with individuals with disabilities/barriers to employment
  • Valid class 5 driver's license
  • Strong communication, problemsolving, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace and managing risks
  • Willingness to work remotely (Employment Sites)

Work Outcomes:


  • Supervising and supporting team members according to Chrysalis Policies and Procedures
  • Facilitating schedule management and annual reviews for service recipients and team members
  • Ensuring completion of necessary documentation, invoicing and training
  • Organizing effective team meetings and maintaining certifications/training records
  • Overseeing support procedures and maintaining quality of life goals

Work Environment:


  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am4:00 pm

Salary:
$45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
