Description

Position:

As part of Agile teams, the Product Leader ensures the ongoing

enhancement of Croesus's product performance, striving for products

that embody user-friendliness, reliability, and robustness.


Main tasks include:


  • Validate the viability and profitability of new features, formulate a design strategy, and define priorities, in alignment with the
Director of Software Development.

  • Determine the order of deliverables based on the company's strategy, and reference production schedules from other
departments (Project Management, Product, Development, and Quality Assurance).

  • Remain vigilant regarding activities that involve regulations, technological advancements, and the introduction of new
financial products to the market.

  • Analyze and monitor the landscape related to enhancing technical and professional knowledge (seminars, conferences,
etc.).

  • Provide support to the sales team for projects related to product marketing.
  • Actively participate in nurturing client relationships to assist the sales team.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to collect feedback, validate projects, and present our twelvemonth
roadmap.

  • Reports to Vice-President, Head of Products

Requirements:

University degree in business, sales, finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years experience in the Canadian wealth and asset management industry.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in software development management.
  • Availability and openness to travel

Skills

  • Indepth understanding of financial markets, including securities and wealth management.
  • Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle (e.g., Croesus)
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Global vision.
  • Openmindedness.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • High level of autonomy and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective management of priorities.
  • Strong social skills.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) spoken and written; knowledge of a third language an asset.
