This is a Supervisor Position
The Restaurant Supervisor will oversee all Waitstaff, Hosts and Server Assistants. They are directly responsible for smooth service, and ensuring all department members function in unison. Ensuring all property standards are being met. Ensuring staff are being properly trained, lead, inspired and taught along the way is key. This position is required to be a positive example and assist in all areas as needed. *This is a hands on position*
Leadership
- Fostering an integrated FOH / BOH team to inspire high morale and motivation.
- Ensure fluid communication between all department leaders
- Provide ongoing training to staff members
- Act as the Manager on Duty when necessary
- Complete any Corrective Counseling and or Disciplinary action as needed
Skills
- Fine Dining service experience is an asset
- Preferable serving experience in a 4Diamond + Restaurant
- On the Floor presence; table touching, and guest relations
- Labor and Time Management
- Completing Weekly/Monthly inventories of serviceware/glassware as needed
- Proficient knowledge of Word/Excel
- Develop and Maintain Food and Beverage / Culinary Goal
Physical Demands
- Frequently sitting, standing, and reaching with hands and arms.
- Regular use of hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls
- Standing for long periods of time
- Ability to lift/carry, push/pull up to 40 pounds
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$21.00-$24.00 per hour
