Summary:

Responsibilities:

Ability to work 3:00pm 11:30pm.
Fulfill work orders.
Work with other CNC Operator and Production Supervisor to manage priority level of work orders.
Read and understand detail shop drawings provided.
Cut materials as per the detail drawings.
Ensure all dimensions are accurate and quality standards are met.
Enter CNC Files onto the nesting software to prepare for cutting, quantities of material needed and output to the cutting table.
Track and record production.
Operate forklift.
Track and record inventory and offcuts.
Staging material in priority sequence for work orders in the ques to minimize machine downtime.
Help select and transport material to work area manually or using a crane or forklift.
Inspect and measure finished workpieces to determine conformance to specifications.
Assist with preparing and maintaining production equipment for operation.
Handle and move materials and pieces, using lifting devices as required.
Cutting and removal of scrap material.
Carry out inspections of production.
General labour duties as assigned.
