Duties and Responsibilities


Reporting to the General Manager Scanway in Truro, you will be overseeing entire Restaurant operations of One 50 on Willow at the Best Western (Glengarry) Truro.


The Restaurant Manager is expected to coordinate, supervise, train and direct restaurant associates, and liaison with the resort, ownership group, catering and kitchen departments.


ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The primary responsibility of the Restaurant Manager is to assure the success of all F&B outlets while maintaining high standards of service, relationship with ownership group and its representatives.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


At least 5-6 years of progressive Food & Beverage management experience in a hotel, or Restaurant and at least 2 years as a department head.


Social Media Duties:

Support and coordinate content creation, promotions and marketing activities for 150 on willow as well as for the Scanway Implementation of 150 on willow's digital strategy which includes:

  • content development and community management of all social media platforms
  • Coordinate advertising campaigns and promotions for the venue and event organizers, including liaising with external suppliers, making recommendations based on target demographics and budget management.
  • Inclusion of 150 on willow in TripAdvisor with a goal of being top 10 food establishment in Truro

Office Duties:


  • Day end reports through POS
  • Record and submit hours for payroll for the staff
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies.

Leader/Team player/Revenue/Financials:


  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • The Restaurant Manager represents the company at the 150 on willow as well as to our clients and other business partners and as such will maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer service.
  • Contribute to generating new business leads and servicing existing contracts. The Restaurant Manager develops and manages restaurant sales revenue and operation budgets and provides forecasting reports.
  • Creativity and passion are essential. Work is performed in an office and venue environment that is very fast paced. Requires the ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Other duties as assigned by Scanway owner and operator.

Salary:
$40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
