    Description

    Join Our Team as a Retail Store Manager

    The Retail Store Manager is in charge of making sure the store runs smoothly and profitably while also keeping customers happy and products well-presented.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Greet and assist customers professionally.
    • Address customer complaints with a positive attitude.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
    • Maintain optimal inventory levels.
    • Conduct inventory checks and generate reports.
    • Drive sales and promote business growth.
    • Verify invoices and track expenses.
    • Maintain a tidy store and correct pricing.
    • Make informed purchasing decisions.
    • Provide sales and productivity reports to management.
    • Hold staff accountable for cash discrepancies.
    • Handle daily sales transactions and banking.
    • Oversee the ordering and receiving process of products.
    • Supervise and coordinate staff activities.
    • Complete any other assigned tasks.

    Requirements:

    • Smart Choices Cannabis Retail Certification required.
    • Clear Criminal Background Check needed.
    • Minimum 3-6+ years of retail experience.
    • At least 3 years in a supervisory role.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Previous management experience preferred.
    • Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
    • Proven skills in staff training and motivation.
    • Capacity to evaluate and enhance staff performance.
    • Flexible availability including nights and weekends.
    • Basic office administration and Microsoft Office skills.
    • Effective teamwork and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in customer service and problem-solving.
    • Aptitude for planning, organization, and completion of tasks.
    • Diplomacy, negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
    • Quick learning of sales software and implementation of PR campaigns.
    • Positive, responsive, and professional work demeanor.
    • Strong attention to detail in record-keeping.
