Description
A university degree or college diploma in marketing/business administration or related field- 2 years of administrative or customer service experience
- Proven strong communication skills in written and spoken English
- Strong data entry and computer skills (MS Office
- Word, Excel), Outook.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative in seeking new opportunities and bring forward an action plan with mínimal supervision
- Detailed oriented, pleasant personality, strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines
- Excellent presentation skills and customer service skills
- Knowledge of the Post-Secondary education and Career College system and an ability to thoroughly understand AAPS programs, services, and admission procedures
- Experience working in a student recruitment capacity is an asset
- Flexible to work days, evenings and occasionally on the weekends
Responsibilities
- Receiving and responding to all student, staff and faculty inquiries, requests for information or assistance on any matter related to AAPS
- Working to positively influence student enrollment in various programs
- Meeting visitors at AAPS, evaluating and assessing student's eligibility for programs or scheduling followup appointments.
- Updating and maintaining the AAPS educational support software
- Updating and auditing student information on excel sheets. Ensuring data integrity and correctness.
- Taking payments and revising invoices
- Maintaining various college policies including privacy and confidentiality.
Salary:
$16.00-$19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON M3H 2T4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- administrative assistant: 1 year (preferred)
- receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
