Element has an opportunity for

Lab Assistant whos primary responsibility will be to assist the department supervisor to support daily operations. At all times this individual will be expected to comply with Element health and safety, cGMP and integrity policies, and to conduct all our testing to the highest level of cGMP complian


Responsibilities:


  • Field client phone calls in a friendly, polite, and ultimately professional manner
  • Ensure general upkeep and housekeeping of the laboratory water systems, glassware cleaning, sample disposal, general equipment, etc.
  • Maintain inventory of standards, reagents, materials to match demands of the laboratory
  • Receive shipments and manage laboratory inventory
  • Ensures all equipment and materials are organized and cleaned before and after use
  • Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly quality control checks on equipment, standards, and materials
  • Provide administrative assistance
  • Maintain high safety and quality standards in all activities
  • Ensure that all staff requests for help, information or support are treated fairly and professionally
  • Ensure that coworkers receive the help and support they need in order for the team as a whole to succeed
  • Compliance with GMP/GLP and ISO requirements as these pertain to responsibilities

Skills / Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year of laboratory experience outside of school preferred
  • Technical education / training (or equivalent in experience) preferred
  • Computer Skills: MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Intermediate user proficiency preferred
  • Solid organizational skills required; must be able to prioritize multiple tasks
