Job Scope:


To contribute to the growth of the company by closely following up on specific quality processes with an assigned customer in an efficient, organized, meticulous, progressive and economical manner.

The Quality Import Coordinator is responsible for fulfilling the needs between the customer through direct communication with the factories.


Job Schedule:

Full-time, in office. Office is located in Ahuntsic, Chabanel area.


Objectives:


  • Proactively communicate with factories in order to facilitate on time delivery for the customer
  • Clearly communicate with the sales team, proactively providing them on all information including any submits or samples coming and taking action on their requests.
  • Work with the fit technician to be sure your fit samples and specs are evaluated.
Request development sample on new program needed for a buyer meeting.

  • Provide constant feedback on expected sample ready dates to the sales team.
  • Provide the factory the quality process to follow for each order. (Must follow the customer's protocol).
  • Review each tech pack before sending to factory.
  • Create a development critical path (DCP) of all approval process step and update it weekly for each customer.
  • Follow up on lab dip, strike off, fabric quality and sample process on a daily basis.
  • Distribute sample and update DCP with all samples/submission received daily.
  • Review and comment all fabric requirements: color, hand feel, and any other technical requirements for the assigned customer.
  • Request the proper fabric/garment to be tested by a 3rd party lab (when required) and follow up with factory.
  • Communicate all comments to the factories in a timely manner and clear instruction.
  • Weekly meeting with other department/factory to review all the programs and update their status.
  • Proactively suggest solutions when issues are faced in quality/production/fit in order to meet all required deadlines.
  • Work closely with licensor in order to meet their needs and make sure we are up to date with their protocols and manuals.
  • Have knowledge in garment construction, fabric construction, sewing, testing
