Description

Info-Tech Research Group is looking for a multi-skilled video producer to join the production team to plan, execute, and deliver video assets for internal and external purposes.

In this role, you will assist the Manager of Production in planning the scope and treatment of video projects.


You will use videography, animation, editing techniques, and asset management to create compelling videos that promote Info-Tech's products and services on the company website, social media, and other platforms.

You will orchestrate webinars, video shoots, set-up video equipment and lights, direct talent, edit video and audio, and know how to visually bring a script or concept to life, often under tight timelines.

You'll also work alongside a talented Associate Producer as a tight-knit creative team.
- _Note: Currently, this is a hybrid position._


Responsibilities

  • Take a leading role in the planning and execution of shoots, including storyboarding, resource planning and forecasting, booking locations and guests, setting up appropriate video equipment, and directing shoots.
  • Edit raw video using Premiere Pro to align with company production standards and formats to elevate Info-Tech's video presence online.
  • Master videography and photography projects using best practices and techniques, with intuitive, handson knowledge of equipment.
  • Remotely produce webinars, livestreaming events, and webcam presentations to showcase experts, content, or products in a workfromhome environment.
  • You'll be helping to create and put into practice digital asset management.
  • Create supporting video assets including title cards and logo animations in collaboration with the Design department.
  • Own, execute, and organize company photography, including employee headshots.
  • Follow internal production protocols to ensure compliance with various requirements and reporting methods.
  • Work with an interdisciplinary team that includes designers, developers, marketers, social media managers, researchers, and executives.
  • Ensure a consistent tone and "voice" that aligns with the company's brand.

Education and Experience

  • College or university training with a minimum of 2 years handson experience with video production, motion graphics, video/audio editing, and asset management.
  • Experience with directing video shoots, overseeing shot composition, camera settings, lighting set ups, and all aspects of the physical shoot.
  • Adept at incorporating and manipulating motion graphics/animations with music to make videos compelling.
  • Solid knowledge of audio recording techniques.
  • Proven ability to work crossteam and incorporate feedback from stakeholders while managing workloads effectively.
  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver errorfree content.
  • Experience working in an agile, marketdriven company is an asset.

Skills

  • Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop and Illustrator in a Mac environment
  • Motion graphics experience: producing and manipulating 3D & 2D animations
  • Storyboarding and scripting
  • Keen eye and ear for minute visual and audio details
  • Digital asset management
  • Studio and onlocation still photography
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision at times
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent problemsolving and organizational abilities
  • Drawing/illustration skills an asset
  • Familiarity with Jira project management software an asset
  • Ability to lift/move heavy/oversized production equipment
