We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our organization.

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, policy implementation, and compliance.

Your expertise in HR policies, procedures, and best practices will be instrumental in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring the success of our employees.


Responsibilities:


  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct new employee orientations, ensuring smooth onboarding and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, providing guidance, support, and resolution of employeerelated issues.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or grievances, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring fair and objective outcomes.
  • Promote positive employee relations by fostering a culture of open communication, respect, and teamwork.
  • Performance Management:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management programs, including performance reviews, goal setting, and performance improvement plans.
  • Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on performance management processes and tools.
  • Support managers in addressing performance concerns and developing appropriate action plans.
  • Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs within the organization and collaborate with managers to design and deliver relevant training programs.
  • Coordinate and track employee training activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support employee career development initiatives and succession planning efforts.
  • HR Policies and Compliance:
  • Stay uptodate with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all HR practices.
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate employee records, ensuring confidentiality and data privacy.
  • HR Projects and Initiatives:
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives such as employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion programs, and HR process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to implement HR strategies and initiatives that support organizational goals.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably as an HR Generalist.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Demonstrated problemsolving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Familiarity with performance management systems and training program development.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Location:


This position will be a hybrid role of working on site at our Mississauga Campus Support Centre and from your home office.
