Position Summary


The Project Scheduler, CSI Energy Storage will work with various members of the project implementation and operations team globally to create and maintain schedules for various Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

The schedules will be used to track progress to baseline, determine the critical path and analyze risk and contingencies. The scheduler will also be used to determine resource requirements and loading for construction, commissioning, and operation activities.

The Project Scheduler will also work with various stakeholders in procurement and manufacturing to align equipment delivery with construction milestones.

Proficient knowledge of Primavera P6 in a construction environment is required.

  • Develop integrated schedules and establish baseline schedules with the project implementation team using Primavera for various BESS projects and their different stages as appropriate (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Operations)
  • Interface the schedule with the project budget and resource load it with labor and material resources based on the project approved budget hours and quantity.
  • Coordinate and update schedules with actual progress and forecast remaining durations, project milestones, and completion dates.
  • Identify the critical path & near critical path within the schedules.
  • Prepare schedule risk analysis to forecast contingencies.
  • Prepare and issue schedule analysis narratives and reports including recommendations for corrective.

  • Carry out whatif schedule analysis for different options or to assess impacts of certain events
  • Carry out delay analysis for claims, review and recommend on extension of time claims or requests.
  • Develop, implement, and train on standard and projectspecific planning and scheduling procedures in accordance with the project requirements and procedures.
  • Develop various project controls reports as required (Bar Charts, Scurves, Productivity, Manpower histogram, Commodity curves, etc.).
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the CSI Energy Storage Code of Business Conduct.
  • Adhere to and enforce all health and safety rules and company policies.
  • Complete other duties as required.

Qualifications

&

Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in a related discipline (project management, scheduling, engineering, construction).
  • Experience with developing Primavera P6 schedules in a construction environment, with renewable energy projects preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of P6 experience with best practices for planning
    Required:
  • Knowledge of Earned Value principles.
  • Effective working skills for Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proactive attitude, initiative to take on challenges, and problemsolving skills are a must.
  • A systematic approach to information acquisition and management and an eye for detail will be key to this role.
  • Excellent teamwork, flexibility, communication, collaborative, and crosscultural skills essential.
