Job Description:
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Perform design of Plumbing, Fire Protection and HVAC systems
- Perform Energy and HVAC calculations and analysis using industry programs (i.e. EE4, eQuest, Carrier HAP)
- Ability to use and create excel spreadsheets to assist with calculations and analyses
- Assist with the design and drafting of mechanical systems in 2D AutoCAD and MicroStation; training will be provided as required for CAD and Engineering programs
- Assist with the design and drafting of mechanical systems in 3D REVIT; training will be provided as required
- Preparing written reports and deliver results in a clear manner to technical or non-technical persons
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Registration as an EIT
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of REVIT, AutoCAD and/or MicroStation considered a strong asset
- Strong communication skills, spoken and written
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Work may involve some travel within Canada
- Sponsorship not provided
