Precise Tool & Die Limited is looking for a Factory General Labourer to join our team

We are located in Whitby, minutes from the 401 and we are a global supplier to the automotive, consumer products, and defense industries.

We specialize in precision tooling, stampings, and assembled components.

This is a full-time, permanent day-shift position reporting to the Production Supervisor.


Responsibilities:

• Follow all company safety procedures;
• Manual assembly;
• Sort, inspect, pack parts;
• Wash, deburr parts;
• Operate basic metal working equipment and machinery;
• Prepare material for shipment;
• Measure and examine parts for conformance to company specifications and quality standards to ensure that company and quality requirements are met;
• Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner;
• Complete all production and quality control documents as required;
• Ensure work environment remains safe, uncluttered, clean, and wellmaintained by performing janitorial duties throughout the shift as time allows;
• Report all problems and product nonconformance's to your Supervisor;
• Other duties as required.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

• Education Required: Secondary (high) school graduation diploma or GED;

Previous Experience Required: 1 year in a manufacturing environment;

• Weight Handling: Able to lift 35 pounds.
