Description

The Florist is responsible for the ordering and arranging of indoor floral displays for table centers, general area displays and special events bouquets such as birthday/anniversary/ on -site weddings etc.

This role works closely with the Horticulturist to ensure that indoor florals are rotated and presented as needed for group business, general resort areas and special event venues.

Qualifications & Requirements:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Courses in floral design would be an asset.
Relevant work experience as a floral designer with events and weddings
Familiarity with floral storage such as coolers and transport procedures.
Ability to work independently and efficiently, selfmotivated
Confidence in communicating with both internal and external customers
Ability to perform physical tasks such as transportation, delivery of arrangements.
Enjoy working in a team environment.
