Job Description:

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Licensed with the College of Audiologists & Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
Previous experience with assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders in a hospital setting, including videofluoroscopic assessment
Certification in MBSImp (for videofluoroscopic swallow studies) is preferred
Experience with both acute and rehab adult communication and swallowing disorders in a hospital setting
Experience with Stroke Best Practices is preferred Experience with medically complex and elderly patients
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and student learning
Strong case management skills and demonstrated ability to work in a fastpaced team environment
Superior interpersonal communication skills, including verbal and written communication
Satisfactory attendance and performance required
