Job Description:


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensed with the College of Audiologists & Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
  • Previous experience with assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders in a hospital setting, including videofluoroscopic assessment
  • Certification in MBSImp (for videofluoroscopic swallow studies) is preferred
  • Experience with both acute and rehab adult communication and swallowing disorders in a hospital setting
  • Experience with Stroke Best Practices is preferred Experience with medically complex and elderly patients
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and student learning
  • Strong case management skills and demonstrated ability to work in a fastpaced team environment
  • Superior interpersonal communication skills, including verbal and written communication
  • Satisfactory attendance and performance required
