Full Time Maintenance Contract - St. Catharines, Canada - Westhills Care Centre
Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems as per company policy
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them promptly
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
- Supervise and coordinate contractors if necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintenance work, preference given to someone with LTC experience
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals
- Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Leadership skills to supervise maintenance staff and contractors
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

Salary:
From $1.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No more than 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
