What you will do:

  • Lead full endtoend design from research, ideation, user flows, wireframes, high fidelity to final delivery of design files to development.
  • Produce interactive prototypes and detailed, pixelperfect final specifications for product/user interface and interactions.
  • Design with usercentered approach and with accessibility in mind ensuring compliance with accessibility guidelines.
  • Collaborate with product manager and business partners to lead discovery and definition of new products.
  • Facilitate design brainstorming sessions utilizing design thinking frameworks (design sprints)
  • Audit site experience to uncover painpoints & opportunities and identify gaps to help inform product roadmaps by leveraging research, usability testing, and analytics.
  • Identify UI components and interaction patterns to systemize and standardize.
  • Design common components, variations, and behaviours to serve multiple use cases while considering scalability.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive design system (design pattern library, design principles and specification, etc) to ensure there is consistency and clarity across the site.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or other related fields or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years experience designing digital products across multiple platforms and devices.
  • Proficient in the use of digital design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch and/or Adobe xD, Invision, Axure, or other similar software.
  • Understanding of WCAG 2.1's AA.
  • Expert understanding of Humancentered Design, including Design thinking methodologies, research, and user testing protocols.
  • Experience with product discovery, definition, and delivery frameworks.
  • Experience in systemizing interface and interactions designs (design system; style guides; patter libraries, etc.).
  • Ability to rapidly produce interactive porotypes and design mockups.
  • Project management skills
  • Driven, actionoriented, and understand the importance of collaboration with crossfunctional team members in a fastpaced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization and with key stakeholders.
  • Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities, react with urgency and reprioritize as needed.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills and presentation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and teamplaying attitude, and ability to work crossfunctionally.
  • A selfstarter, with strong drive for results and taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required.
