Based out of the Burlington Head Office and working closely with stakeholders across the organization, the Manager, Learning & OE is responsible for planning, prioritizing, and executing key learning and OE programs supporting Wolseley's strategic growth.


Success in this role will require a strong team player, able to navigate a matrix team, and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

The Manager, Learning & OE will have a proven track record leading large-scale projects, with a demonstrated background supporting leadership development and performance management.

What you will do:

  • Manage Learning Operations which includes needs analysis, maintain content libraries, curriculum development, training delivery, LMS administration, maintain training matrix by job role, learning technology, reporting and analytics, mentoring, and leadership development.
  • Lead the execution of the annual Talent Management cycle including yearend performance reviews and calibrations, talent pipeline, and midyear check points.
  • Ensure identified top talent have individual development plans in place and support them with increasing readiness level through assessment and coaching interventions.
  • Manage multiple existing talent pipeline programs and design, development, and implement a new sales pipeline track.
  • Program management & reporting for Wolseley's core leadership development programs
  • Lead the vendor selection process for a new sales training program.
  • Build and leverage vendor/supplier relationships.
  • Governance of Wolseley's learning management system (Workday Learning)
  • Other Learning and OE projects as required and assigned.

What you will bring:

  • Min 5 years' experience in learning and OE, including accountability for largescale organizationwide initiatives
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and/or Adult Education certification
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, influencing others to move toward a common vision or goal
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a highpressure environment with everchanging schedules.
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Bilingual French not necessary, but a strong asset
